Our newest arrival at the Bob Evans Farms My Barn is Dexter cow calf, Russet! He was born Thanksgiving Day 2022 and lives with his mother Luna, and the rest of our Dexter cows, Belle and Anna.

Heritage Breeds

Heritage breeds are traditional livestock breeds that are well-adapted to our local environment. At Bob Evans Farms My Barn, we currently house three heritage breeds: Dexter cattle, Jacob’s sheep, and Barbados sheep.

• April 1 - April 30: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Weekends Only)
• May 1 - May 26: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• May 27 - August 13: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• June 17: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Zoofari)
• August 14 - September 4: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Weekdays), 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Weekends, including Labor Day)
• September 5 - September 30: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Weekends Only)
• October 1 - October 30: 5 p.m. - dusk on Fridays,  - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays (Boo at the Zoo Only)
• November 16 - December 31: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday - Thursday, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday (Closed November 23, December 24, and December 25)
