Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA) is a global force for turtle conservation that takes action on behalf of critically endangered turtles and tortoises.

Using a comprehensive strategy to evaluate critically endangered species, they determine the best way to address the problems and bolster the animals' survival.

The Columbus Zoo staff have supported TSA by participating in field care for radiated tortoises rescued from the illegal pet trade in Madagascar, providing outreach to Zoo guests, as well as fundraising.

Rick Hudson from Turtle Survival Alliance received the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s prestigious Commitment to Conservation Award in 2021.
