Even though every day is Earth Day at the Zoo, we invite you to join us for this eco-celebration like no other! Together we can celebrate Mother Earth while learning how to make better choices for the planet and all its living creatures. This two-day event will feature live entertainment, activity booths hosted by local environmentally focused organizations, Character Ambassador meet and greets, and more!
CONSERVATION ACTIVITY STATIONS
Activity stations hosted by environmentally focused local organizations that will provide activities for guests to learn more about protecting the environment in a fun, interactive way. Organizations to be announced soon!
GLOBAL HOP REGION STOPS
These stations in each region of the Zoo will promote some of Zoo's major field conservations partners related to that particular region. This will encourage all guests to "Think Globally, Act Locallyâ while learning about all of the Zoo's great work in a fun and interactive way.

BANANA SLUG STRING BAND
The Banana Slug String Band will be joining us all the way from California to perform two forty-five-minute shows featuring their award-winning soundtracks. With their âguitars, voices, crazy characters, and an extraordinary ability to connect with children⦠they change the world, one child at a timeâ with their educational, fun songs.

HOW TO GROW A PLANT WITH SYDNEE KOALA
Join in on this self-guided activity presented by your favorite gal from down under, Sydnee Koala. Sydnee has helpful tips and tricks on how you can grow your own plant at home! Â Plants are important for Mother Earth and all its living creatures. At each stop, locate the hidden letter and unscramble them to crack the code. Â Once you know what the secret word is, stop by the Earth Day Information tent to collect your plant-tastic prize!
