POWELL, Ohio â Tap into your wild side during Craft Brew at the Zoo, presented by Columbus Brewing Company, on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Tickets are now available for this 21 and over craft brew celebration at the Columbus Zooâs Waters Edge Park, which will feature beer, food and live entertainment, including headliner Sugar Ray.
Following the success of Sugar Rayâs number one breakthrough hit song, âFly,â which put the band on the map in 1997, Sugar Ray released its second album, âFloored,â which went double-platinum. The bandâs success rocketed front man, Mark McGrath, to pop star status as he graced the covers of âRolling Stoneâ and âSpin,â and made People magazineâs âSexiest Man Aliveâ issue in which he was named âSexiest Rockerâ in 1998. After âFloored,â Sugar Ray released â14:59,â and the CD went on to outsell its predecessor, going triple-platinum with hit singles, âEvery Morning,â âSomedayâ and âFalls Apart.â The bandâs success continued with the release of the self-titled album, âSugar Ray,â which garnered the band its first ever top 10 album. The band has appeared numerous times on the Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, Carson Daly, and The Today Showâs Summer Concert Series, to name a few. Additionally, McGrath has hosted VH1âs âI Love the 80sâ and âThe Greatest: 100 Most Showing Moments in Rock and Roll,â and the primetime specials, âThe World Music Awardsâ and âVictoriaâs Secret Fashion Show,â as well as Extra, Donât Forget the Lyrics and Killer Karaoke on the Tru Network. He has been featured on a variety of MTV and VH1 programs, including the âTeen Choice Awards,â âMy VH1 Music Awards,â âRock ânâ Roll Jeopardy,â the âAmerican Music Awardsâ and the âESPY Awards,â and made guest appearances on a number of hit television dramas.
